This past weekend we headed back to Hickory, NC, for Lenoir-Rhyne University's Homecoming. Even though we had quite a wet start to the day, we had a great time catching up with all of our friends, many of whom are like our extended family. A.D. was able to experience his first "live" football game, but unfortunately, even A.D. couldn't help LR as they lost the game by 1 point. However, clapping is big around our house right now, so A.D. really enjoyed the band and cheering.

We stayed overnight in Hickory on Saturday night and went on to Asheville on Sunday to see the Bonsai Exhibit at the NC Arboretum before heading home. Hopefully we'll add more pics to this post soon.

It was so good seeing you guys! AD is a doll!
I think poor A.D. is going to grow up thinking yearly he must be sacraficed to the LR Bear....I am just saying. :-)
